Red Burning Skin from Corticosteroid Addiction and Withdrawal

To read the articles by Dr. Marvin J. Rapaport, click on the links below:

When I had burning red skin on my face (my cheeks), I used chilled yogurt, and it felt really good and calmed it down so that I didn't feel the need to use corticosteriods. The redness subsided and the coolness instantly took the hot burning feeling away. I used the yogurt like a mask and just rinsed it off with cool water. Then, I may have used a little moisturizer after that, but at least I didn't feel like I needed to use a corticosteroid at all ... the yogurt was just fine.
