Alkalizing Internally and Eczema

Internal pH is highly important.  Although externally our skin is supposed to be acidic, internally we are supposed to be alkaline.   Unfortunately, in many cases it is reversed.

If you were to compare your body to a fish tank, it is easy to understand just how important a pH balanced environment is.   An overly-acidic internal condition will result in an emergency expulsion of acid toxins via the skin and thus eczema.  This is key:  only by alkalizing your system internally will your body have the proper environment to be well.  Did you know that the NIH says metabolic acidosis is common in babies fed cow-based milk formula?  That's one reason so many babies have eczema.

Here's a simple article on the Alkaline Diet to start you out.  See, also, the Immune System Calming Foods web page, and you can can study about alkalizing on the Internet and get a book called Sick and Tired by Dr. Robert O. Young, Ph.D. in Microbiology, Biochemistry and Nutrition.

Link to the alkaline food chart here for foods that help calm down the immune system and The Inflammation Free Diet Plan.
