It also provides you with plenty of essential and skin healthy vitamins and minerals, which are also found in the fresh fruits found in a healthy alkaline diet. In addition to that, the alkaline diet requires that you consume a fair amount of healthy nuts and oils and fish, rich in many skin healthy omega fatty acids, every day.

The alkaline diet consists largely of common sense. You should eat more fruits and vegetables and consume good fatty acids, which have been well known to moisturize the skin without causing excess oiliness. They have also been known to be rich in powerful antioxidants, which work to kill off harmful free radicals that may damage the skin(causing acidic damage). When you use an alkaline diet, you can eliminate harmful substances, naturally moisturize the skin, fight dry, irritated, or infected skin, and other major symptoms of eczema. So even if you don’t believe in the concept presented behind it, the alkaline diet is a logical way to fight the symptoms of eczema.
